The Head Metallix 6 is a new power-oriented option in Head's line. Like the Metallix 10, the Metallix 6 retains the use of Flexpoint technology and offers several new technologies for 2006.

Head Metallix is incorporated into the shaft section, making the Metallix 6 lighter and stiffer for more power.Metallix is made of a matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy that is 1000 times smaller than typical metals.Head Stabilizer eliminates racquet vibration and ensures the ultimate in comfort on every shot.Head LMS (Longer Main String) design lowers the bridge section to create a larger hitting surface without making the racquet any larger. The Metallix 6 is a more control-oriented option to the Metallix 10, yet still offers incredible power and stability. Surprisingly controlled thanks to the "flexpoints" cut into the frame at 3:00 and 9:00.
